★ Charming apartment in the Aligre district

L'appartement est situé à moins de 10min à pied de la Gare de Lyon. L'appartement est propre, fonctionnel et conforme aux photos mises sur airbnb. Le quartier est super sympa avec pleins de bonnes adresses (bar, resto, marché..). Je recommande !

This was a terrible experience for us. The host uses a service that was not flexible to our time change of a half hour and we arrived to a dirty place. The cleaner did arrive at 5 pm and we had to vacate to allow cleaning. It is located on the fifth floor of an apartment building without an elevator. The Wifi never worked and the host did not respond to our calls for help.

We overall enjoyed the apartment during the day. Location was great and quiet. The kitchen was wonderful to use. Cons: Check-in. Was given the wrong number to contact for check-in. Ended up waiting for 30 minutes driving around in circles due to no parking. The amenities listed paid parking. There was no paid parking available upon check-in. The gentleman that checked us in didn't have any suggestions about parking besides driving around until you found something or the Q-lot. We ended up at the Q-lot which was 42 euro a night! Discovered that if we paid for parking ahead of time it would have been way cheaper. This was very upsetting since I had asked prior to coming whether I should get parking in advance and was told not to. The walls were very thin and could here TVs and people talking all night and then in the morning. I personally can't sleep when there is light coming in through windows. There was only a small sheer blind so I was up every morning at 6am, not by choice.
