★ Small charming studio for 2 - Bastille

If you need a reasonably priced place to stay in a cool up and coming neighborhood, this is your place. But be prepared for potential weak communication and deceptive behavior if a cleaning crew comes in.

Petit coin très sympa, appartement très propre et hôte hyper réactif ! Je recommande pour des petits séjours en amoureux, en plus d'être très accessible, le quartier est calme et on y dors comme des bébés.

The place was great and we enjoyed it immensely. The location was nice, nearby a metro station, had a bakery on the corner, and a washer, which was great for us two who only brought backpacks. Some quick notes on some stuff you might want to know if you stay: - the wifi name on a note on the wall is incorrect, but you can probably figure out which one it actually is supposed to be (unless you’re particularly not tech-savvy) - the closets and drawers were all filled with clothes, shoes, and other assorted things of little importance to us staying there. This made the place feel a bit haphazard and might have caused a problem if we weren’t two people with just backpacks staying for a couple days. The place is spacious but may not be for folks with lots of luggage. - for those who don’t know, 11th Arr. was a great location for us since due to the hipness of the surrounding neighborhood. One of us was vegetarian, and it’s not too easy to find tasty vegetarian meals in Paris, except in 11th Arrondissement! Hit up that local vegan burger place Hank Burger as well as the best falafel we have ever had (we live in Glendale CA, just went to NYC on the same trip, so our standards are not low) at L'As du Fallafel.
